Although you get negative points for the lifeday items.\u00c2\u00a0 I thought\u00c2\u00a0malls had cornered the tacky Christmas Kitsch market.<\/p>\n
And it seems like each one of them not only expects you to drop by for a cup of eggnog and coookies but MOVE IN FOR THE DURATION OF THE MONTH LONG “SPECIAL EVENT!”.<\/p>\n
In Star Trek Online, the big, big , big reward (the ship, not the starbase ornament) takes logging in for a quest once a day for 25 DAYS!!!\u00c2\u00a0 Of a 35 day event!\u00c2\u00a0 Well, thank goodness I have no other commitments in my life that take me away from home!\u00c2\u00a0 The quest takes about 10 minutes, but I still have to get to the special playground during my daily tour of the galaxy for my ongoing duty officer assigments.\u00c2\u00a0 Being a single guild dad sucks.<\/p>\n
I’ve just started the event in Secret World (after spending literally days before the End-Of-Days with the ARG that ended on the 21st) where I have to kill Mayan zombies and take their secret coins.\u00c2\u00a0 Of which drop about 5% of the time from remains that drop about 50% of the time.\u00c2\u00a0 In 6 hours I have about 1\/10 of what I need for all the cool goodies. On ONE character.\u00c2\u00a0 The good thing is if I stand still long enough, one just pops up in front of me so I can decapitate him with a swing or two.\u00c2\u00a0 The bad thing is if I’m doing any other activity in the game, one just pops up in front of me that I have to decapitate.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve had to buy 30 extra inventory slots just to keep up with the garabge I’m getting.<\/p>\n
I’m hoping just a few days of playing Ancient Whack-A-Mole will let me finish, and then I can start (START!) on the LOTRO one, which I have missed the last few years.\u00c2\u00a0 Yeah,\u00c2\u00a0I know, people should be so lucky to have this problem.<\/p>\n
